The Rossignol X-IUM Skate boots are a fantastic option for high-end skate skiers looking for something a little more friendly than a World Cup boot. With nicer features like a Winter Therm liner and a softer sole, these X-IUM skate boots strike a nice balance between extremely high-end performance and a little bit of comfort. The race volume is low enough to hold the skier's foot nice and tight, but not too snug that you'll lose feeling. For most average width feet, this is a great shape for a skate boot. As opposed to the upper-level boots that are stacked with carbon, the X-IUM skate boots have a dual core anatomical heel counter that keeps your foot locked in and ready to rip. Skate skiers know the importance of having a direct flow of energy from their foot to their ski, and these boots do a fantastic job at minimizing energy loss, creating a more efficient system overall. The Winter Therm lining keeps those feet nice and warm, allowing you to spend more of your time skating and less of your time inside. For skiers in especially cold climates, this is certainly something to keep your eyes on. The cuff is a dual core material as well, and is hinged to give the best possible performance. While not as stiff as carbon, for the value, you're still getting a responsive and agile boot that a lot of skiers will love.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
