    Description

    Offered here is a Clydesdale draft horse porcelain/china figurine – he does have a repair of the left rear lower leg.  Ordinarily I would not offer an item with such repair, but he is such an unusual fellow that I’m hoping someone can overlook his “defect” for all his beauty.  His tail and mane have been braided; he has white stockings and blaze on face and that long arching neck.  This horse is the picture of strength – gentle, but strong and muscular.  He came to me from a recent estate sale and according to the family dates to the 1940-50’s.  There is no maker’s mark but he is of fine quality and the porcelain feels like fine bone china.
