Condition: Beautiful, intricately carved, large, salvaged fretwork pediment/cornice/topper. From a 19thC wall cabinet, this wonderful piece features a pattern of scrolls with notched/carved patterns. There is a repeated pattern of wheat sheaf bundles which also look like crowns. Light colored wood. There are tabs remaining on the ends which indicate that the piece was held in place via notches. Very nice condition with expected wear to the finish. Very sturdy and no breaks or missing fret elements. Please note that we have a matching piece (slightly smaller size) listed separately. Measures 81" long (excluding the end tabs), 12" tall at the center and just under 1" thick
