    Description

    Antique BOSTON & SANDWICH Needle Etched and Cut Butter or Cheese Dome. 8" tall x 5 and 7/8" diameter at the bottom. Large applied and beautifully cut hollow teardrop handle. The body of the dome is decorated with delicate needle etching in the Eastlake Style.  No underplate. We are offering the dome only. The dome is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and minimal signs of use. I attribute it to Sandwich but I am no expert so decide for yourself. A beautiful 19th C. dome in any event. SHI at cost. No reserve.
