This antique crest/pediment is from France and it dates to the Napoleon III period.
It is in solid wood, hand carved.
It was originally a pediment on a big cabinet.
This crest is made from solid wood finished to a black color, color of furniture at the time Napoleon III,  hand carved
It is a quality pediment made by the old French knowledge of cabinet-making.
Overall the crest is in good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches.
