    Description

This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit designed, put together and sold by Sharon Perry. This kit which is suitable for the beginner or seasoned rug hooker comes with the following:
100% wool fabric strips cut in #8 (1/4") & #6 for the gold trim on the house
A  color photo of the finished piece along with the color key
Pattern drawn on cotton monks cloth sealed at the edges to prevent fraying
Easy to follow rug hooking instructions
Cotton  rug binding to finish it off once you have it hooked
The only other items you will need are a hooking frame and a hook. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. I have hardwood and steel hooks listed for .00 but if you'd like one with this kit purchase choose that option and it's just 7.50 to add it to your order.  This kit when completed measures 11 X 12 inches and would make a great wall hanging, pillow top or table top centerpiece.  The wools used are mostly hand dyed and very primitive.
The house is hooked with dyed green, gold trim and a red door. The background is don with mixed blues and gold stars, a white fence and green and rose shrubbery. For a finishing touch I added two rows of over dyed charcoal around the outer edge of the piece.
SHIPPING: Any postage over payments due to combined shipping will be refunded before your order is mailed out. Any questions please email me and thanks for your interest in my work.
