Featuring a 98 mm forefoot last, these boots are best for narrow-footed skiers who are advancing in the sport of skiing and require a close fit for strong performance. If you have a narrow foot and are in a higher-volume boot, your foot will start moving around, leading to both poor fit and performance. The 110-flex rating is ideal for most intermediate and advanced skiers who need a bit of stiffness for strong precision and power. Lighter expert skiers will love the quickness and edge hold of these narrow boots. When the plastic is closer to the foot, the performance goes up, it's as simple as that. Boots are all about energy transfer, so the less distance between foot and shell, the better that power will get to the ski. Both the upper cuff and lower shell are made from polyurethane, creating a smooth and predictable flex for a wide variety of skier types. From high-speed groomers to bumps and trees, the Hawx Ultra 110 is ready to roll. For all but the heaviest and most aggressive of skiers out there, the Ultra 110 will hold up to some serious use.
