Here is how these boots are described:
This new version of Salomon's S-lab Classic boot has everybody excited. A beautiful carbon sole means the best combination of easy forward flex for kick, and side to side stiffness for ski control. This boot uses a fully heat moldable separate inner liner allowing for a perfect fit. New for this year, the boot is now only available in a Prolink nnn style boot sole.

I live in the Adirondacks, not far from Lake Placid, in a small city that has North America's
first
lighted Nordic Ski Trials. The trail system is less than a half mile from my home. I've been Nordic skiing for 30 years. My wife the same. My son captained his HS team and his college team and is still a pretty good Nordic skier today,. So, I can say I am familiar with Nordic gear and my family have used Salomon  gear for decades. Salomon race boots fit great, work great and look great and these are S/LAB boots, which means they are  top-level in the Salomon  line of boots.  They will fit a US mens 8 1/2 foot and  probably a US Women's  9.5 foot. They are Unisex boots, EU size 42 and they are
beautiful, new in box, never been on snow.
That said, being race boots they will not fit wide feet or someone who wears two pair of heavy socks.  race boots need to be tight to be responsive and if you don't like a tight fitting boot, these are not for you. Even so, Salomon boots are very comfortable. I've tried on Fischers, Rossis, Madshus and I've never felt them to be as comfortable as Salomon's. Just ask Jessie Diggins. She races Salomon's.
