Product description
It guarantees long-lasting insulation from water infiltrations, with low maintenance if properly treated.
It is made of a special rubber resistant to salt water and lubricating grease.
The product is supplied complete with AISI 316 stainless steel clamping band and special shaft line lubricant.
The stuffing box usually works below the waterline and is lubricated and cooled by water. If you are working above the waterline or at the limit, cooling with an external source of water is essential.
Version A
: with brass hose connector for external water lubrication (if not used, a brass closing cap is supplied) + hole with brass cap for greasing.
Version B
: without hose connector and grease hole.
The kit includes: packing gland + specific lubricant tube + instructions.
